What a way to close out the year! Our final selections delivered, though if you were riding the Under with us, you probably don't have many fingernails left. Here is the breakdown of how the season finale shook out and what we’re looking forward to next year.

The Big Wins: Spreads and Totals

We went two-for-two on our primary looks, but it wasn't without a healthy dose of drama.

  • Seahawks -4.5 (Win): Seattle took care of business, covering the number and validating the model's confidence in the matchup.

  • Under 45.5 (Win): This was the ultimate "sweat." The total was trending dangerously high late in the game. We caught a massive break when a Kenneth Walker touchdown was nullified by a holding penalty in the closing minutes. That flag was the difference between a winning ticket and a heartbreaking loss. We'll take the luck where we can get it!

The Props: A Mixed Bag ⚖️

Our prop portfolio saw some highs and some "almosts." Here’s the scorecard:

The Story

Charlie Puth Anthem (Over/Under)

Win

Puth clocked in at 111 seconds. A smooth rendition and a smooth win for us.

Rhamondre Stevenson ATTD

Win

We love a "garbage time" hero. His late touchdown was a beautiful sight for the bankroll.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba Over Yards

Loss

Heartbreakingly close. He missed the Over, but had 1 or 2 deep ball opportunities that would have cleared it easily.

Drake Maye Over Rush Yards

Loss

Maye finished with 37 yards. He was active on his feet, but we fell just half a yard short of the mark.

Patriots More Sacks

Loss

We have to own this one. This read was flat-out wrong.

Looking Ahead: The "Free Money" Play for Next Season 💰

We're already scouting edges for next year, and one of the most consistent pockets of value remains the Gatorade Color.

While it feels like a coin flip now, keep this in mind: by game time next year, the market usually settles. If you track the movement, you can often find a window right before kickoff to place a wager on the favorite color. It’s about as close to "free money" as you can get in the betting world if you play the timing right.

Thanks for riding with The AI Bettor this season. We’re going to spend the off-season refining the algorithms and getting ready for an even bigger heater next year. As always you can find our record on our primary plays on this google spreadsheet.

One last note: Just because football is over doesn't mean we’re slowing down! We’re dipping our toes into some new waters this offseason. We'll be sending out plays for NBA, NHL, and maybe even some Soccer as we finalize our models for the spring. We’re hitting the books and the databases hard, be on the lookout for those emails soon!

Secure the bag.
